Four political coalitions represented in the Presidential Transition Council (PTC) have formed a majority to choose a president and propose a single candidate for the position of prime minister. These are the EDE/RED/Compromis historique coalition, the December 21 Agreement, the January 30 Collective, and the Pitit Desalin party. Representatives of these structures within the PTC, along with the leaders of their parties, have signed an agreement to establish power on April 30.
