Inflation bounced back in February 2024. Indeed, the Consumer Price Index (CPI, 100 in 2017-2018), which stood at 362.5 in January, rose to 373.6 in February, thus showing an acceleration both on a monthly basis (3.1% compared to 1.1%) and on an annual basis (23% compared to 20.9%), according to data published by the Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI) in the latest edition of its monthly section titled "The CPI Corner."
