The city of Les Cayes experienced another day of tension and paralyzed activities on February 7th, 2024. An attempted looting was thwarted by security agents and the police. One person was injured by a knife among the protesters. The protest movement demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry began around 12 o'clock at La Savane.
