Born on April 1, 1931, in Port-au-Prince, former Prime Minister Jean-Jacques Honorat passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the age of 92, as reported by Le Nouvelliste, according to his family.
Having graduated in agronomy and law, he was a human rights activist for many years. He authored several essays on Haiti and went into exile during Jean-Claude Duvalier's dictatorship, only to return to the country in 1986.
