It's a done deal. The 8 port facilities in the bay of Port-au-Prince are either shut down or barely functioning.

Port-au-Prince International Airport has no flights expected in the foreseeable future.

Unless a miracle occurs, the capital cannot receive any aid or merchandise, neither by air nor by sea, until further notice.

The second month of the siege imposed by the gangs has begun without any statement from the outgoing authorities or those expected to arrive regarding the situation in Port-au-Prince and
