Le Nouvelliste: With the new mandate entrusted by the UN Security Council, what will concretely change in BINUH’s role in Haiti?

Carlos Ruiz Massieu: The mandate entrusted to us has, I would say, been refocused, with certain priorities strengthened. We continue our work in supporting political dialogue and strengthening governance, and we also maintain the essential work of reporting on and monitoring the human rights situation throughout Haiti.
