Miss Haiti Universe 2016 landed at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport where she was welcomed by representatives from various sectors of the country including members of the government, the press and students. She then went to the national palace where she was received by the presidential couple. President Jovenel Moise took the opportunity to make Raquel the Goodwill Ambassador of Cultural and Tourist Affairs of Haiti. Later that afternoon, Raquel met with the press at Best Western Hotel where a welcome cocktail was held in her hon
